Out numbered and sick

I lose my voice about once or twice a year so I knew it was bound to happen... it has:( It is bad for two reasons.
  • #1: I have triplets and I now whistle to get their attention. It actually works very well. Something good might come out of this. Between whistling and a little sign language we made it through the day yesterday.

  • #2: I am supposed to talk tonight at church. I will try and conserve my voice and pray about it today and we will see what happens.

I don't feel that bad I just sound like I am going through puberty again:) I might start whispering to the kids all the time as they were more quiet than normal yesterday. If I whisper to them, they usually whispered back. Nice change from the glass shattering, dog whining, ear drum splitting screaming I get sometimes.

Here are a few of my favorite "baby" pictures of theirs from 4/07. Our Nanny Kelly took the first two. Yes, the coffee cup is empty.

A diplomat... is a person who can tell you to go to hell in such a way that you actually look forward to the trip.

Al, I hope you get enough of your voice back to make it through church. I will say a prayer for you about it as well.

Good Luck tonight. Just remember to "change the names to protect the innocent." Miss Kelly

Sorry to hear you are sick but I can assure you that kids usually can tell when you are sick and seem to be easier to get along with - whether they are toddlers or teenagers. --Summer
