Yes, I wear shorts in the winter....

Every Wednesday night at Church people ask me if I know it is cold outside:) I have only worn pants one day this year, other than on Sundays. My rule is that if it is above 30 degrees during the day then I wear shorts. My Dad was giving me a hard time about this when I came up with my rationale. Most places you go that are inside are warm enough for shorts. So I choose to dress for the time I am there, not the time between the car and where I am going.

For instance... I went to church on Wednesday night and it was in the 30s outside. But I was only outside for 30 seconds or so. I was inside for an hour and a half. While most people dress for the 30 seconds, I dress for the hour and a half:)

In the depth of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer.

I totally agree. You are a genius! People think I am crazy when I don't wear a coat, but why do I need a coat when I am only outside for a few seconds.

I used to do that in college....shorts all the time...I don't know when I grew out of it but kudos to you for not letting "the man" bring you down!
