No good deed goes unpunished

I have mentioned before that this is the #1 rule to keep in mind in our house. Well, it turns out that it may be more ubiquitous than I first thought. While at MCDs last night one of our friends' kids spilled some water. It wasn't a lot, about the size of two sheets of paper, but it was in the play area so it was having an immediate impact as all kids are in socks.

So I went to ask for a towel to clean it up. The very nice lady behind the counter said she would take care of it. She brought a mop and set about multiplying the wet area by about 20. So now EVERY kid would have wet socks. Lesson learned, next time I will empty the napkin dispenser to clean up the mess:)

You are a product of your environment. So choose the environment that will best develop you toward your objective. Analyze your life in terms of its environment. Are the things around you helping you toward success - or are they holding you back?

What looks like a loss may be the very event which is subsequently responsible for helping to produce the major achievement of your life.
