Another bite report...

The good and the bad...
  • The bad... Jackson got ANOTHER bite report the other day from their day out program.
  • The good... he kept it in the family:) He bit William.
I have tried about everything to keep him from biting but it is usually an impulse when he is VERY mad or has had enough taunting from someone - usually William. We call William "bruiser" for a reason. He is a loving and caring child that also likes to tackle people. He does not have bad intentions but that does not prevent bad outcomes. We often tell William "no rowdy" when he gets going.

More snow photos - hey, we don't get it very often:)

Snowy going

Here are the Triplet's reactions...

Jackson: This stuff is fun but it sure is COLD when you get it down your shirt. Thanks to William's snowball:)

Addison: I like it but more at a distance. It is getting my boots wet but it shows off my pink jacket well.

William: Man, I have got to figure out how to make this stuff! It is fun to kick AND throw!

Snow days!

The Triplets enjoyed their first snow. It is a rare thing in Birmingham so we tried to take full advantage of it. It was not easy but we did make it to church. I am sure that will take a little more persuading when the kids are older.

Showing love the Triplet way...

We now have periodic wrestling matches between our three. They are very short lived and often end poorly but they are funny. Addison even gets into the mix. Refereeing these is not easy. Do I let them "figure it out" or do make everyone play nice? I am trying to teach them that when it ceases being fun for one person it is no longer fun for anyone. A match usually ends with a scream, hair pull, bite of pinch.

Assuming either the Left Wing or the Right Wing gained control of the country, it would probably fly around in circles.

Time out!....

Again and again the Triplets keep reminding me that they learn more from watching rather than when I "teach" them. The other night we noticed the kids putting all their animals in time out. The CFO asked what she was doing. She said "animals in time out." The CFO asked why they were in time out. Addison said "BITE."

The CFO grabbed the digital camera and I grabbed the video camera. Like many times before with the kids, I almost peed myself laughing.
