So now we have some decisions to make. Do we embrace this and change the cribs to toddler beds? Do we put him in "baby supermax" with a crib tent? Do we just "teach" him not to get out of his crib? Next thing I know my insurance rates will be going up because of teenage drivers:)
Addison looks like she is saying "Yes, I got into the blue chalk also. You want to make a big deal out of it?"
So much of what we call management consists in making it difficult for people to work.

*clears the cobwebs* I think when Little Blue was two (maybe three?) we got him a toddler bed and made a big deal out of it. I think we also got rid of the baby monitor, but we gated his door shut with a pressure gate so he couldn't escape and babyproofed his room triple time. He could open the door and call for us, but he couldn't escape.
I'd say convert them, you don't want any sprained ankles (or worse!)
Love the lessons of advantages and disadvantages of growing up. Opening doors, learning to undo locks, potty training, climbing out of cribs, etc. Best of all is you are enjoying it all. Wow! Addison's hair is really getting long :)
I remember that day all to well. Mine wanted to walk around the house after he started climbing out of the crib. We went with the toddler bed and then he wanted to roam. I finally decided to get a door that could close to the bottom and the top. Not sure what the correct name is but, then I found out how much they cost. The gate kept him in maybe for a week until he could pull any kind I put up.
Good LucK!
